Job Description

The Role

Our client is a market leading manufacturing organisation with a strong presence in the North East, developing innovative products to an international marketplace. They are currently looking to strengthen their engineering team with a number of highly skilled Multi-skilled Maintenance Technicians who would support the operation from a proactive preventative maintenance perspective, as well as troubleshooting and project support activities within both an electrical and mechanical context.

Responsibilities

Carrying out fault finding activities on a wide variety of production equipment.

PPM support utilising a central preventative maintenance system.

Support to engineering commissioning and installation projects.

Produce technical reports to aid in the analysis of breakdown root causes, problem solving and recommending countermeasures.

Adhering to engineering working practices, with health and safety a paramount priority.

The Candidate

Candidates should be time served, electrically biased technicians, with at least 2-3 years post apprenticeship experience.

Educated to ONC level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.

Knowledge of PLC's will be a pre-requisite to success in the role, with robotics experience highly desirable.

Candidates should posses considerable experience within either an assembly related environment, or with injection moulding and ancillary equipment.

Candidates should also be proactive team players who can also work under their own initiative.
