This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of GEM Partnership, who are operating as a recruitment agency.

Our client is a leading organisation in the development of innovative products and services with a number of sites here in the North East. They are looking for someone to join their Facilities Management team due to a growth in business activity, a department who are responsible for managing and supporting the smooth running of the organisation's facilities, ensuring all contracted Facilities Management services meet legal, statutory and client specifications.

As part of a small team you would be responsible for providing a full range of support to the Facilities Manager on 2 key sites, including assisting in FM contractor compliance with agreed SHE and quality standards, energy usage data collection and the ongoing development and collation of ISO14001 data from the sites to support with evaluation of Compliance.

We are looking for someone who has significant experience of providing administrative FM support for an organisation of a similar size and has practical knowledge of ISO 14001 / 9001 standards and their application within the workplace.

Candidates should ideally hold qualifications in a relevant subject, be educated to A-Level standard or level 3 equivalent and have previous experience in facilities management where there is external contractor service support. It is also desirable that candidates hold an IT related qualification or have excellent IT skills utilising the full range of Microsoft packages. Health & Safety qualifications would be highly desirable.
