GEM Partnership golfers once again travelled to Northumberland for the 2nd annual pilgrimage, with Dave Evans victorious in an exhibition of down the middle golf.
The weather played a big part in the scoring this year over the 2 links and 1 parkland course, with howling winds and downpours challenging the most robust of swings. Spirits remained high however with the thought of curry and numerous beers keeping the troops going through the worst of it.
With a prize pot to tempt Rory and Luke, Dave Evans held off a firm challenge from last year's winner Rob Mayman, and pink pants wearing Anthony Antoniou to claim the now coveted GEM trophy by a reasonable margin. Dave won a new Ping driver for 1st Place and Anthony a new Ping 3 wood for runner up.
