GEM Partnership named in 50 fastest growing companies across the North East

GEM Partnership are delighted to have been named today in the Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 companies for 2016, a shortlist of the fastest growing businesses in the region put together by UK Top 100 law firm Ward Hadaway in association with Durham Business School.

The Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 is an annual awards ceremony which highlights and celebrates the achievements of fast-growing, profitable companies here in the region. Companies make the shortlist and are invited to a prestigious awards ceremony where the fastest growing small, medium and large businesses are announced, culminating in one being crowned overall winner.

GEM Partnership has made it into the 2016 list along with the other shortlisted companies following achieving three consecutive years of strong turnover growth whilst remaining profitable and an assessment by the team at Durham Business School.

Lee Rankin – Managing Director at GEM Partnership commented...

“We are absolutely delighted to have made the Ward Hadaway Fastest 50 list this year. A culmination of 3 years hard work by the entire team here within GEM and hot on the heels of making the 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain list published by the London Stock Exchange earlier in the year. We are up against some fantastic businesses who have also made the list this year and it’s a real honor for us all to have been recognized in such prestigious company here within our local business community”.

Jamie Martin, Managing Partner at Ward Hadaway, said…

"We congratulate GEM Partnership and every company in the Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 for 2016 for their achievements in making this year's list. The Fastest 50 shows what terrific companies we have in the region and underlines what a great place the North East is to do business."

We now go forward to the Awards ceremony to be held on October 14th at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Arts in Gateshead.
