Job Description

• Salary up to £125k plus attractive OTE and ‘significant’ EMI options
• Work from home flexibility, however scheduled visits to London HQ and Sheffield Office

My client is a rapidly growing technology/SaaS organisation offering a unique portfolio of services to an international marketplace across numerous sector verticals including Media, Retail, Professional Services and the Built Environment / Engineering. There is a clear roadmap for future business transformation, which would lead to a rapid scaling of their current turnover over the next 3-5 years as their products, services and technology are commercialised at pace. To support this ambitious growth plan, they require an experienced CCO with extensive experience in scaling SaaS solutions at pace, within an international framework. The successful candidate will help create and lead on the execution of the go-to-market strategy, from lead gen through sales process execution, key account oversight and customer success management.
The Role:
• Develop, manage and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to achieve ambitious growth and market sector objectives.
• Report on commercial performance to the CEO and Board.
• Lead on the business objectives to identify and analyse new markets, monitor performance, and make recommendations where appropriate.
• Manage and oversee the sales process from lead generation to contract negotiations plus tracking opportunities and key account management.
• Oversee marketing activities to support commercial strategy, as well as the post-sales process, such as identifying opportunities to offer additional services.
• Assist with the sales and marketing process directly where and when necessary.
• Provide feedback to the CEO/CTO regarding potential areas for growth and potential new products and services or improving existing.
• Review, monitor and implement a pricing strategy that maximises company growth.
• Directly manage the sales/marketing resources and ensure KPIs are met.

The Candidate:
• Candidates should be very experienced commercial leaders with a background of successfully developing growth to enterprise customers within the SaaS space, coupled with an appreciation of the international marketplace either via direct experience overseas or a strong multinational client focus.
• Ideally of graduate calibre, candidates should possess first class written and verbal communication skills and be able to establish and maintain excellent relationships with C-level executives of key target clients and channel partners.
• An ability to take strategic decisions based on research, analysis, and feedback, with experience of reporting on commercial and marketing metrics to board level stakeholders.
• Creating and implementing effective pricing models for enterprise-level SaaS products, and a talent for forging new strategic partnerships that increase brand awareness, reputation, and recurring revenue are pre-requisites for success in the role.
• Any experience within or supporting the built environment / infrastructure or language translation industries would be highly desirable but not essential for success in the role.
• Willing to travel extensively across the UK and overseas.
