Job Description
Our client has a fantastic opportunity for operators to join our night production team working from their modern site in Stockton on Tees. Our client is one of the UK’s largest home furniture manufacturers and has been established for over 100 years.
Duties
To competently operate woodworking machinery to produce panels that meet specification and quality standards
Ensure panel paperwork is completed correctly throughout processing
To communicate effectively with other operators to ensure production targets are met
Following procedures to pack furniture correctly
To identify quality issues and detects to prevent further defective products being produced
To comply with the company quality policy and IOS 9001 standards
To comply with the company health and safety policy
Required knowledge, skills or experience
Organised and planned approach to work
Good eye for detail
Commitment to health, safety and quality standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Can work as part of a team or independently
Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines
Problem solving attitude
Previous factory/ packing experience preferred but not essential

Hours of work:
Monday – Thursday 6:00pm – 6:00am
Rates of pay:
0 – 12 weeks 48 hours @ £11.29
13 weeks + 40 hours @ £10.42 + 8 hours @ £15.63
