Job Description
Job Description
Co-ordinate the delivery of stock condition surveys and energy assessments for the Group’s domestic and commercial assets. Provide technical advice and support to stock condition surveyors in the consistent identification of HHSRS hazards. Complete quality assurance checks and validation on condition surveys and energy assessments completed by the team.
Duties
Our client is committed to holding robust and up-to-date stock condition and energy data on our homes. This data is the foundation to ensuring our customers live in safe, decent homes for today and tomorrow and ensures investment at the right time. Our current stock condition and energy team undertake over 6000 stock condition surveys per year in our customers’ homes.
Due to a change in strategy for the collection of stock condition and energy data, our client will now undertake EPC surveys of all homes using our internal team. Where appropriate, we will look to combine stock condition and EPC surveys to minimise disruption for customers. Our client is also committed to ensuring all homes achieve EPC C by 2030, and that all homes meet the Decent Home Standard.
We have a significant investment programme in our existing homes, and getting this right, is based on the data in our asset system. A key fundamental to making this a reality is having accurate data on our homes’ energy performance and stock condition. Our aim is to visit our homes and assess their condition as frequently as possible.
To achieve this strategy, we are delighted to be investing in and increasing our team of Stock Condition and Energy Surveyors and are recruiting for an experienced Senior Stock and Energy Surveyor who will ensure the overall quality of this service.
