Description

To lead your Team of operators, within a safe & healthy environment, to consistently deliver production targets, on time. Drive high standards of product safety & quality, through the consistent delivery of housekeeping, hygiene, process control. Ensure Hour by Hour reporting is completed and where necessary escalated to the appropriate level. Ensure all relevant process monitoring and documentation is completed precisely, and in a timely manner.

Duties

• Where hazards are identified and risk levels are deemed unacceptable immediate action must be taken by you to remove the hazard and then report to the Shift Team Leader.
• Ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times.
• Ensure all near misses and accidents are reported and documented.
• Complete Risk assessments and SOP’s as and when required.
• Be certain that product safety and hygiene requirements meet both internal specification and HACCP requirements at all times.
• Maintain the required high standard of housekeeping and GMP across your line at all times.
• Where an incident does occur, escalate immediately to the Shift Team Leader.
• Ensure all products meet the requirements of the internal specifications.
• Support the technical team in ensuring all process monitoring requirements are completed to the required standards.
• Actively encourage your team to put quality before efficiency.
• Identify your skill gaps in line with the Shift Team Leader and Training Manager.

Additional Information

Location: Middlesbrough

Hours of work: 6am – 6pm & 6pm to 6am (4 on 4 off)

Rates of pay: £11.89 to £14.27
