Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Bonus
Location: Sunderland (Hybrid)

The Mobile App Developer is a crucial appointment in realising this ambition, responsible for designing, building and maintaining applications for smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices.

The Role:

• Leading React Native projects from cradle-to-grave and taking responsibility for projects already in-flight
• Building mobile applications using React Native, including designing user interfaces and implementing functionality
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and standards
• Ensuring application performance, responsiveness, and efficiency
• Identifying and resolving bugs, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring code quality
• Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in the mobile development process

The Candidate:

• Strong React Native experience
• Strong understanding of mobile development principles and best practices
• Experience with cross-platform development (iOS and Android)
• Expertise in testing best practices and automation
• Familiarity with CI tools and mobile pipelines
• Ability to solve complex problems with clean, maintainable code
• Experience with mobile performance, UX, and security
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
