New Appointment – Jayne Ward

GEM Partnership are delighted to welcome Jayne Ward to the team working within our Training department

Speaking about the appointment, Natalie Brown – Delivery Manager said:

We welcome Jayne to Gem Partnership as our new Trainer, Jayne brings a wealth of knowledge and experience specialising in Team Leadership, Business Administration and Operational Departmental Management. We are excited to have Jayne on board and we look forward to her inspiring our learners to achieve their qualifications and build successful careers

We caught up with Jayne about her background and experience so far:

I’m an apprenticeship trainer and qualified teacher specialising in leadership, management and business. I believe anyone can be a leader and I like to think that I can help and support adults into leaders through a heart-centred approach that anyone can model and inspire in others.

I have over 20+ years in post 16 education and designed and delivered apprenticeships, curriculum programmes across Further Education and work-based learning with a range of providers and colleges.

Alongside teaching and training, music is my passion: I collaborate on community music for wellbeing projects, using my arranger keyboard for singalongs, musical activities and local events. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends and surrounding myself with animals and nature.

(What made GEM attractive to you as an employer?)

GEM’s values led supportive approach, solid employer partnerships which focus on impactful job ready learning, along with a strong history in manufacturing recruitment really stood out. I was drawn to the chance to deliver high quality leadership programmes with a supportive team, where learner care, measurable outcomes and continuous improvement all matter equally.

It’s a great fit for my coaching style and belief that people flourish when expectations and empathy sit side-by-side.
