Ewelina Dewerenda
Ewelina chose an apprenticeship as part of a new opportunity within her workplace, recognising it as a chance to strengthen her skills while progressing in her role.
“I saw it as a great opportunity to gain practical knowledge and build a strong foundation for my future career. The combination of on-the-job experience and structured learning made it the right choice for me.”
Her advice to others is simple, but powerful:
“Go for it and be open to learning as much as you can. Don’t be afraid to ask questions and try new things—the more you get involved, the more you’ll benefit.”

Catherine Nairns
Catherine’s hard work and dedication saw her reach Gateway ahead of schedule—an incredible achievement.
“I am delighted to have reached Gateway ahead of schedule and proud of the work and evidence I have produced.”
She highlighted the importance of support during her journey:
“Ian has been an amazing tutor throughout my apprenticeship. His support, knowledge and encouragement have played a huge part in my development and success.”
