Celebration of Success – Husqvarna

Everyone at GEM Partnership loves to celebrate the success achieved by our learners, given the hard work and commitment it takes to complete their learning.

Following on from our recent celebration of success (https://www.gempartnership.com/celebration-of-success-etex-remagin-2/) we’re delighted to be able to offer our congratulations to Phil Waller and Kyle Bartle on the completion of their Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship and Rodney Gough of the completion of his Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprenticeship!

We spoke to the guys about their apprenticeship experience:

Phil Waller

“I was given the opportunity by Husqvarna to undertake the apprenticeship and my advice for anyone who is thinking about an apprenticeship would be do it! You gain valuable experience, skills and knowledge and you get the qualification at the end.

“My experience with GEM has been nothing but excellent. My trainers were fantastic and made it a joy to attend the sessions and helped me in every way possible.”

Kyle Bartle

“I wanted to do the apprenticeship to learn and develop my skills to do my job efficiently.

“Undertaking an apprenticeship is a great way to learn when on the job.

“My experience with GEM has been great, especially working with the trainers.”

Rodney Gough

“I chose an apprenticeship so I was able to learn valuable skills while on the job and applying those skills within my role.

“I’d advise anyone to undertake an apprenticeship to get as much out of it as you can, ask questions and be open to change.

“My experience with GEM has been nothing but great, anything I struggles with, my trainer would always help and any questions or concerns I had were answered as soon as possible.”

We also caught up with Rodney’s manager, Ellis Cook:

“Rodney’s training has given him the skills to problem solve and apply direct knowledge with a deeper understanding, making it easier to contribute in a meaningful way.

“The benefits of on the job training are beneficial to both the apprentice and the employer/mentor as both can learn from each other”.
