Job Description
We are currently working with a client based in Jarrow who are experiencing exciting growth in their busy Manufacturing business, we have a role available for a Press Production Operative to join their team immediately reporting into the Production Team Leader. This is a great opportunity for people in the local areas to join a company going through an exciting period of expansion. Duties
• Completing assigned pressing work within specifications and timescales
• Follow equipment safety checklists where applicable
• Completing relevant production paperwork correctly
• Helping to reduce scrap generation
• Implementing and carrying out 5s improvements with your process
• Maintaining a Safe and Tidy Workplace
• Follow procedures and work instructions related to the Company Management System
• Ensure compliance to the Health & Safety rules, Company rules and regulations

Location: Jarrow
Hours of work: 3 on 3 off Days/Nights rotational 6 – 6
Rates of pay:
• £12.21p/h training rate (2 weeks)
• 2 – 12 weeks – £15.50p/h
• 12 weeks plus -£15.95p/h
