Job Description
Our client is looking for a Paint Plant General Operative to join their expanding team working a 2-shift rotation. Candidates need to communicate well at a variety of levels (excellent listening skills, verbal, written), this person ideally will have at least 1 years’ experience of working on a powder coat or wet paint plant.
Duties
• Selecting paint from stock for each new job
• Jig up parts ready to paint
• Masking parts from drawing detail
• Packing finished parts
• General housekeeping duties as and when required
Required knowledge, skills or experience
• Experience of working to and understanding engineering drawings is desirable but not essential
• The ability to work unsupervised is required as although in a team of approx. 5 people the individual will be required to work through various jobs without assistance

Location: Chilton
Hours of work:
• Dayshift
Mon – Thurs: 8:00am to 5:00pm & Friday – 8:00am to 12:30pm
• 2 shift rotation:
Lates Mon – Thurs: 2:30pm to 11:00pm & Friday: 12:30pm to 7:00pm
Days Mon – Thurs: 6:00am to 2:30pm & Friday: 6:00am to 12:30 pm
Rate of Pay: £14.65 per hour
