Job Description
Our client is looking for a Robot Welder to join their expanding team working a 2-shift rotation. Candidates need to communicate well at a variety of levels (excellent listening skills, verbal, written), have good analytical and problem-solving skills, be self-motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision, starting on dayshift for induction and training before transitioning to a 2-shift rotation. They will be responsible for operating and monitoring a robotic welding machine, performing precise welds on various material thicknesses.
Duties
• Spatter removal during cycle time
• Interpreting standard operating procedures and technical drawings
• Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet specifications
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area
• Strictly following all safety procedures
Required knowledge, skills or experience
• Experience operating a robotic welding machine
• Proficient with manual power tools
• Possess strong communication skills and a solid work ethic
• Ability to interpret SOPs and technical drawings
• Basic manual welding skills are preferred but not essential

Location: Chilton
Hours of work:
• Dayshift
Mon – Thurs: 8:00am to 5:00pm & Friday – 8:00am to 12:30pm
• 2 shift rotation:
Lates Mon – Thurs: 2:30pm to 11:00pm & Friday: 12:30pm to 7:00pm
Days Mon – Thurs: 6:00am to 2:30pm & Friday: 6:00am to 12:30 pm
Rate of Pay: £14.65 per hour
