Job Description
To ensure paperwork within the Warehousing Department is up-to-date, computer stock is correct and delivery targets are met in line with Company objectives. Inspect goods in line with Alexander quality procedures.
Duties
Receiving and inspection of all incoming items incl. finished goods, components and miscellaneous items using all test equipment available/necessary
Informing supplier and all necessary internal departments of problem and ensuring all paperwork is completed
Generation of all paperwork for receipt of goods, locating of all parts into warehousing and miscellaneous items distributed to relevant persons
Receive and inspect returned finished goods from customers find fault and advise if credit is to issue. Fill out all necessary paperwork
Picking/distributing of components for work orders/requisitions for shop floor, including the cutting and issuing if bulk items (i.e., wires, shrink) for work orders, updating of computer system
Pack and dispatch of finished goods against picking lists from Customer Services
Pick up and collect goods as requested using the company vehicle
Carry out any other reasonable task requested by Management
Required knowledge, skills or experience
Good communication skills both internally and externally.
Possession of administration and computer skills to maintain stock control systems and paperwork is desirable.
Must be team player and have a flexible attitude toward working hours.
