Inspired Pet Nutrition launches Apprenticeships with GEM Partnership

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Inspired Pet Nutrition to launch their Level 3 Improvement Technician Apprenticeship

On Thursday 30th May our trainers Genine and Luke were on site to enrol Jordan and Ewelina on their Level 3 Improvement Tech Apprenticeships and launch our partnership with Inspired Pet Nutrition.

We have also launched a bespoke app for the learners at IPN with tailored content specific to their programme such as course materials, presentations, information, advice and guidance and end point assessment support.

We spoke to IPN’s Learning & Development Manager Kathryn Sissons;

Undertaking the Level 3 Improvement Technician Apprenticeship will support our apprentices in developing a hands-on experience and gain expertise in process improvements, problem-solving and project management, all of which we can apply to our processes in our Operational and Logistics teams here at Inspired Pet Nutrition. Giving our colleagues an opportunity to develop their skills in a new qualification whilst also building networking opportunities by interreacting with professionals in the field is a fantastic opportunity! Investing in apprenticeships means that Inspired Pet Nutrition develops a pipeline of talent and fosters a culture of continuous improvement by developing our colleagues, whilst also contributing to our organisational growth.

We decided to bring GEM Partnership on board to support us with the delivery of the Apprenticeship as they had a fantastic approach in supporting the business with the overall delivery. They made the time to get to know the people, the business and really understand our processes, spending time with our colleagues in the operational and logistics teams to gain background knowledge on what we do here at Inspired Pet Nutrition and most importantly, how it works! Applying this level of detail to an apprenticeship is not something you come across every day. They also ensured that we had the flexibility to start the delivery when we were ready and made sure that we had everything that we needed in place in time for launch, the attention to detail has been exemplary. We are looking forward to working with Gem and the opportunities they will bring to our colleagues now and in the future.

We also caught up with one of the new learners, Jordan;

What has interested you in undertaking an apprenticeship?

It was really good opportunity to learn something new and get guidance on the way. I am really lucking forward to the new opportunity’s and the new projects along the way. It’s also really good on your CV as it is recognised as proper qualification that will stick with me wherever I go in life.

What is your goal in undertaking and completing the apprenticeship?

My goals are to improve my self in and out of work and learn as many new skills as possible and give out the best work I can to help the company I work for better.
