I am absolutely buzzing to have received a merit in my End Point Assessment of the Improvement Practitioner Level 4 Apprenticeship and earned my six sigma green belt. A huge thanks to my trainer for all the learning and support she gave me throughout. Also a huge thanks to Darren Johnson and Rocket Medical for allowing me the time to study and learn all the tools and techniques required to support the business. The knowledge and confidence I have gained throughout this course will help me achieve the goals throughout my career at Rocket Medical.

I have recently completed an apprenticeship for Recruitment Resourcer Level 2 where I gained a Distinction. I have gained a lot of knowledge and skills and my confidence has grown massively over the last 12 months. I am still speechless and so overjoyed that I passed with a Distinction. I still can’t believe it. When I first started my apprenticeship, I wasn’t even sure I would be able to complete it with a pass let alone a distinction. It proves that you get back what you put into your work and I truly believe I tried my best throughout my apprenticeship and had the best guidance from my trainer, who fully supported me over the past 12 months to get to where I am today.

GEM Partnership is an appointed recruitment partner for Durham University for temporary administration, clerical, HR and finance requirements. Additionally, GEM is an appointed partner on Durham’s IT skills framework. This includes proactive and reactive recruitment for project work, absence cover and seasonal work. GEM is very supportive, professional and has vast expertise with the recruitment market. The recruitment process for temporary work is predominantly led by GEM with input from University Hiring Managers, this may include telephone interviews, face-to-face interviews and/or Skype interviews. After 18 months being on the Business Administrator programme, I have gained not only a wide knowledge around different aspects of business administration and how it works. This apprenticeship improved my communication skills, showed me better problem-solving methods, strategic thinking or understanding of emotional intelligence within the workplace.
